The playwright William Congreve said that "music has charms to soothe a savage breast. To soften rocks or bend a knotted oak." I myself was once tamed a long time ago. My favorite things are still in this past even as I'm being drawn to the present.

Show me you understand the things I hold dear...

I'm not too sure what the text means, but I can give anyone looking into it a good start.

William Congreve's quote comes from his play "The Mourning Bride" (1697). It might have something to do with what the code says.

As for the code, it has something to do with the blues. If you translate the numerals, you get musical notes. However, I'm not sure what key it could be in, if that's even how you find the answer.

Hope you guys come to a conclusion. Good luck!

I haven't had a chance to double-check it yet, but I believe it's the chord progression to "Blue In Green" by Bill Evans (and/or Miles Davis).

Yep, it's "Blue in Green."

Well then that hooks into the jazz that Charles introduced him to (clip 3 of the Drucker videos, I believe).

But what does it mean?

Well, the song is the key of d minor but I'm not sure if the note names spell anything.

G, A, D, C#, F, Bb, F, D, C, G,D
G, A, D, C#, F, Bb, A, D, E, A,D

There must be something else encrypted in the progressions.

"Blue in Green". Here are the lyrics to that song:

"Hues of blues and greens surround me
knowing you have found another love
has turned me world
to sorrow

Green with envy for another
fearing she may be the one to soar
through life with you, can't lose these

Hues of blues in green"

If this is the song, it may be hinted at Druckers lover/former-lover/crush again, just as the written letter did.

Perhaps part of the reason he hates the company so much is that he lost his love to another member?

Could that lost love be Angela Petrelli?

What does Angela Petrelli have to do with this?

when you play the music along with the lyrics, the notes "D,E,A,D" play alongside the words "another lover". the letter seems to refer to his parents, a soldier and his mother (hana's gandmother) who had another child with a different man AFTER Drucker. This could refer to one of the 3 of them being dead, but im not exactly sure. Possibly his mother, who IS dead...but i dont really know

if you look at Ricochets post the last four notes to the song spell DEAD which obviously means a murder or a death possibly Jessica's or someone elses?

I don't know who else is dead cause i live in Britain and we have not seen season two
